What data we collect

We only collect data you actively provide, or data needed to run the website properly:

• Booking form: name, email, phone number, event type, date, location and your message — solely to respond to your request.
• Newsletter: only your email address, only if you sign up voluntarily.
• Visitor statistics: anonymised per-pageview data (which page, approximate origin, device/browser type, country) via our own, self-hosted statistics tool — we never sell or share this data.
• Cookie preference and language setting: a small technical setting to remember whether you've already seen the cookie notice and which language you viewed the site in.

Why we collect this data

We use your data solely to:

• respond to your booking request and prepare a quote;
• send you the newsletter, if you've signed up for it;
• understand how the website is used, so we can improve it.

We never use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and never sell it to third parties.

Which external services we use

For a few specific tasks we work with trusted external providers, who process data solely on our behalf:

• EmailJS — sends the emails generated by the booking form.
• Mailchimp — manages newsletter sign-ups and delivery.
• ip-api.com — determines a visitor's country based on IP address, solely for our own visitor statistics.

These providers may only use your data for the task we engage them for, never for their own purposes.

How long we keep data

Booking form data is kept as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting booking, plus a reasonable period afterwards for administrative/accounting purposes. Visitor statistics are cleaned up periodically. You can request deletion of your data at any time (see below).

Your rights

You always have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter email. To do so, send a message to info@jelledk.be.

If you're not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
